  • Software-Defined Network (SDN) Research
    at Advanced Networking System Group (ANTS)
Feb. 2016 – Jun. 2017
Proposed a policy to reduce the control channel bandwidth consumption up to 80%
Implemented in Floodlight controller under OpenFlow protocol
Evaluated in Open vSwitch and Hardware OpenFlow Switch on real trace
Drafted the whole paper and accepted by ICNP’18 as first student author
  • ONetSwitch Optimization
    an OpenFlow white-box Switch with Xilinx FPGA
Jan. 2017 – July 2017
Implemented the switch-controller communication module (under OpenFlow)
Currently working on transplanting and deploying OVS to ONetSwitch

A Data Mining Competition focus on Taobao trading data, held by Alibaba Comp.
Built a Logistic Regression model with Feature Selection under one month Taobao trading data
To predict the trading data on the first day of next month, by R, with Liming Lei, Jun Zhu
  • Research Assistant (RA)
    Unsupervised Feature Selection
Sep. 2014 – Oct. 2015
Proposed an clustering-based Unsupervised Feature Selection and implemented in Weka
Evaluated between algorithms from 2002 to 2014 in UCI data sets
It can eliminate redundant features in unlabeled data sets with high or equal performance in next step training.
Nov. 2013 – Feb. 2014
Designed and developed an outsourcing project with Langying Edu. and McGraw-Hill
I was recommended to lead this project by my Java Web teacher Yuan Shen
Our team finished the first version of this project in four mounths except the art work
Now the project has been put into commercial operation
